Summary of our Funding
Government-Funded Childcare:
Eligible families may be able to access government-funded childcare hours to help reduce the cost of nursery care. You may be able to claim 15 or 30 funded hours. The number of funded hours available depends on your family’s eligibility. We are happy to help you understand how funded hours can be used and how they may fit around your preferred sessions!
Please note: Funded hours cover the childcare provision specified under the funding scheme. Additional sessions and wraparound care will be charged at our normal current rate. Optional snacks and consumables will remain optional.
What Is Included in Funded Hours?
We aim to make our funding arrangements transparent, so you can plan your childcare with confidence. We will explain how your child’s funded hours can be used, including the sessions available and how it works as we are term time only.
Where additional services or items are chargeable, we will provide a clear breakdown of costs in advance. You will also be informed of any available alternatives, in accordance with the applicable funding requirements.
Parental Agreement for Funded Childcare:
Before we can claim government-funded childcare hours for your child, we require a completed and signed Parental Agreement Form.
This agreement confirms the details of your child’s funded childcare entitlement, the sessions they will attend, and the funding arrangements agreed with our nursery. It also helps ensure that all information submitted to the local authority is accurate and that funding is claimed correctly. As part of this process, parents and carers will be asked to provide the relevant information and confirm that their child’s funding is not being claimed by another childcare provider for the same hours.
Please note: We must receive your signed Parental Agreement Form, along with any required supporting information, before submitting a funding claim for your child. Our team will explain the agreement and answer any questions you may have before you sign. We want to ensure that you feel fully informed and confident about your child’s funded childcare arrangements.
